Venezia FC is an Italian football club from Venice, founded in 1907. The club has a long but turbulent history, with some spells in Serie A, but mostly plays in Serie B or lower. Venezia has never won major trophies, but is best known for its unique appearance, historic location and strong identity. In recent years, the club has tried to regain a foothold in Italian professional football with a fresh, international approach.

Venezia plays its home games at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo, opened in 1913. It is one of the oldest stadiums in Italy and is located on the island of Sant’Elena, reachable by boat. The stadium has a capacity of 11,150 spectators.

The club is based in Venice, in the Veneto region. Due to its unique location and iconic green-orange-black kit, Venezia has acquired a cult status, both nationally and internationally.
