With Esponya you can easily contribute to charities through your daily online purchases. When you go to an affiliated webshop via our platform and place an order, Esponya receives a commission from the store. This amount is then passed on as a donation to a charity of your choice. The great thing is: you do not pay anything extra for this. In this way, we make commercial success socially valuable together!
Where does the donation come from?
The webshops we work with reward us for referring customers. When you make a purchase via Esponya, we receive a fee, which we largely pass on to the charity you have selected. Depending on the webshop, this can be a percentage of the purchase amount or a fixed amount per transaction.
An example:
If you buy a product of €100 via Esponya and the webshop donates 6%, this means that €6 goes to the charity of your choice. You still pay the same amount yourself, but contribute to a social initiative without any additional costs.
Confirmation of your donation
Esponya is unique in offering a transparent system. Once you have made a purchase, you can find a confirmation of your donation both by e-mail and in your Esponya account. To be on the safe side, no personal data is shared with third parties, including the causes you support.
Do you want to remain anonymous? No problem! You can also donate without an account, although we cannot send you a personal confirmation. You can still find your contribution in the overview of recent donations on our website or ask the cause itself.

Payouts and minimum threshold
To process donations efficiently, we use a quarterly payout cycle. Once a cause has collected at least €50 in donations, the amount is transferred. If the amount is lower, it is automatically rolled over to the next payment round.

– January 10: for donations from July to September
– April 1: for donations from October to December
– July 1: for donations from January to March
– October 1: for donations from April to June
Control and transparency

This prevents ambiguity and ensures that both donors and causes always have insight into the status of their contributions. In case of inaccuracies, both users and causes can contact us for a check.
