PSV is a football club from Eindhoven. The club was founded in 1913 and plays in the Philips Stadium. PSV is one of the three largest clubs in the Netherlands, together with Ajax and Feyenoord. They have often won the Eredivisie and also the KNVB Cup several times. In 1988, PSV won the European Cup I, which is now the Champions League.
The club once started for employees of Philips, but has grown into a real top club. Many famous footballers have played for PSV, such as Ronaldo, Robben and Van Nistelrooij. PSV is known for hard work and a strong mentality. They also train players themselves at their training complex, De Herdgang.
PSV has many fans, especially in the south of the Netherlands. The matches against Ajax are always exciting and are seen as top matches.
