PostNL is the national postal and parcel company of the Netherlands. It was founded in 2011 as a successor to TNT Post, after the international part (TNT Express) was spun off and later acquired by FedEx. PostNL is now responsible for the majority of postal and parcel deliveries in the Netherlands.
You can recognize PostNL by its orange and white colors, the familiar mailboxes and the vans that drive throughout the country every day. They deliver letters, cards, parcels and registered mail, and also offer services such as returns, parcel lockers, and business shipping solutions.
Due to the growth of online shopping, PostNL has increasingly focused on parcel delivery in recent years. They have an extensive network of collection points and sorting centers, and also offer Sunday and evening deliveries.
