NEC (in full: Nijmegen Eendracht Combinatie) is a football club from Nijmegen, founded in 1900. The club plays in the Goffert Stadium, located in the Goffert Park. The stadium offers space for around 12,500 supporters and is known for its atmosphere, especially during charged matches.

NEC is a real people’s club with deep roots in the city. The club has a loyal following and a strong bond with the Nijmegen neighbourhood culture. In terms of sports, NEC can usually be found in the Eredivisie or the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, where promotion and relegation regularly alternate.

The club has never won the national title or the KNVB Cup, although NEC did play in three cup finals. In 2008, the club even played in the UEFA Cup, after a strong second half of the season and a legendary play-off series.
