Esponya is now also on Mastodon!

We are now also active on Mastodon. There we share the same kind of updates, news, useful links and some random thoughts that you may be used to from us – but without ads, algorithms or other noise.

What is Mastodon anyway?
Mastodon is a social network, a bit like Twitter (or X, as it is now called), but then open and decentralized. This means that there is not one big company behind it that decides everything, but that the network consists of many smaller ‘servers’ that are connected to each other. Together they form the Fediverse. You choose a server to create an account, but you can just follow people on other servers – just like e-mail, actually.

Why are we there?
We think it is important to also be present in places where users have more say over their own data and timeline. On Mastodon, you’ll see posts in chronological order, without an algorithm deciding what’s important. No ads, no tracking, no weird “recommended” accounts—just posts from the people you follow.

Are you following us yet?
If you’re already on Mastodon, we’d love to see you there too. You can find us at mastodon.adtension.com/@esponya. And if you’re not, now might be a good time to check it out. It takes some getting used to, but it’s actually pretty simple—and there’s a growing, active community.

See you soon on Mastodon.
