Go Ahead Eagles is a football club from Deventer, founded in 1902. The club plays its home games in De Adelaarshorst, an atmospheric and old-fashioned stadium that is known for its fanatical atmosphere. The stadium is located in the middle of a residential area, which contributes to the real “people’s club feeling”.

Go Ahead Eagles has a rich history and was one of the most successful clubs in the Netherlands in the past, especially in the years before and after the Second World War. The club then became national champion four times (as Go Ahead, before the addition “Eagles” in 1971).
