FC Twente is a football club from Enschede, in the east of the Netherlands. The club was founded in 1965 after a merger between Sportclub Enschede and Enschedese Boys. They play their home games in De Grolsch Veste, a modern stadium with room for over 30,000 supporters.

FC Twente is a real people’s club with a loyal fan base. In 2010, Twente became national champions, a historic moment for the club. They have also won the KNVB Cup and played European football several times, sometimes with surprisingly good results.

The club is known for hard workers, a down-to-earth mentality and a lot of fighting on the field. The fans, often called Tukkers, are fanatical and create a great atmosphere, especially during home games.
