Eindhovens Dagblad is a regional newspaper that focuses on Southeast Brabant, in particular the cities of Eindhoven, Helmond, Valkenswaard, Veldhoven, Geldrop, Nuenen, Oirschot, Mierlo and Best. The newspaper offers daily news on local politics, economy, sports, culture and social issues, with a strong focus on PSV and regional sports clubs.
In addition to the paper edition, Eindhovens Dagblad has an extensive digital presence, with a website and app that offer quick and clear news. The weekend magazine ‘Mezza’ offers additional content on lifestyle, such as food, fashion, interior, travel, entertainment, books and music.
Originally founded on 23 December 1911, the newspaper has a rich history. In 1963 it merged with Oost-Brabant and in 1964 with the Nieuwe Eindhovense Krant. In 2000 it became the property of Wegener, which later became part of DPG Media.
