Deutsche Post is the national postal service of Germany and one of the largest postal and logistics companies in the world. The company delivers letters and parcels in Germany, but also has a global presence through subsidiaries. The best known of these is DHL, which is wholly owned by Deutsche Post.

Deutsche Post used to be run by the German government, but has since been privatized. However, it still plays a central role in the country’s postal service. In Germany, they handle everything from daily mail deliveries to bulk shipments for companies.

On an international level, Deutsche Post is mainly active through DHL Group (formerly known as “Deutsche Post DHL Group”). This parent company combines classic postal services with global logistics, transport and e-commerce solutions.
