bpost is the national postal company of Belgium. The company delivers millions of letters and parcels every day throughout the country, and is also active internationally. Previously, it was simply called “De Post”, but since the company’s modernization and independence, the name has been changed to bpost.
The head office is in Brussels and the company is largely owned by the Belgian state. In addition to traditional postal services such as letters, registered mail and stamps, bpost is increasingly focusing on parcels and logistics – mainly thanks to the growth of online shopping.
Like many other postal companies, bpost is facing the challenge of adapting to declining letter volumes and rising parcel volumes. At the same time, they are investing in sustainability, innovation and collaboration with e-commerce platforms.
