Beşiktaş Jimnastik Kulübü (Beşiktaş JK) is a football club based in Istanbul, founded in 1903, making it the oldest of Turkey’s “Big Three” clubs. Originally established as a gymnastics club, it later expanded into football and became one of the dominant forces in Turkish football. Beşiktaş has won more than 15 Süper Lig titles, along with Turkish Cups and Super Cups. In European competitions, their most notable achievement was reaching the quarter-finals of the 1986–87 European Cup and the 2016–17 UEFA Europa League.

The team plays its home matches at Vodafone Park, located in the Beşiktaş district near the Bosphorus. Opened in 2016 with a capacity of around 42,000, it replaced the old İnönü Stadium, which stood on the same site and was one of the most iconic football grounds in Turkey. Vodafone Park is known for its steep stands and atmosphere, making it one of the most intimidating stadiums for visiting teams.

Beşiktaş represents one of the oldest and most central districts of Istanbul, historically significant and culturally vibrant. The club’s supporters, known as “Çarşı,” are famous not only for their passionate backing during matches but also for their political and social activism, making them one of the most distinctive fan groups in Turkey.
