Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, or Brighton for short, was founded in 1901 and is based in the coastal city of Brighton, in the south of England. The club had a modest existence in the lower divisions for a long time, but gradually climbed up. In 2017, Brighton was promoted to the Premier League and has since managed to maintain its position, with attractive and attacking football that has received much praise, especially from managers such as Graham Potter and Roberto De Zerbi.
Brighton plays its home games at the AMEX Stadium (officially the American Express Community Stadium), which has a capacity of over 30,000 spectators. The stadium is located just outside the city, on the edge of the South Downs, and has been the club’s modern home since 2011.
The city of Brighton is a popular seaside resort on the south coast of England, known for its vibrant atmosphere, arts scene and colourful culture. Together with its neighbour Hove, it forms an urban area that attracts tourists, students and creative people. The club plays an important role in the local community and has quickly become a fixture in English top-level football.
