Feyenoord is a football club from Rotterdam. The club was founded in 1908 and plays in De Kuip, a well-known stadium with a lot of atmosphere. Feyenoord is one of the three major clubs in the Netherlands, together with Ajax and PSV. They have won the Eredivisie and the KNVB Cup several times.
In 1970, Feyenoord was the first Dutch club to win the European Cup I, now the Champions League. They also won the UEFA Cup in 1974 and 2002. The club is known for its hard-working mentality and the saying “actions speak louder than words”.
Feyenoord has a loyal following, especially in Rotterdam and the surrounding area. The supporters are fanatical and create a great atmosphere, especially during De Klassieker against Ajax, which is one of the hottest matches of the season.
