Amazon Luna is a cloud gaming platform. This means that you can play games over the internet, without having to download them or need a console. You simply use a device you already have, such as a PC, tablet, smartphone or a Fire TV. The games run on Amazon’s servers and are streamed to your screen.
Luna works with a subscription. With Luna+ you get access to a large library of games. Amazon Prime members can also play a few selected games for free via Prime Gaming. There are also separate subscriptions for, for example, Ubisoft games.
There is a special Luna controller that you can use, but you can also just pair an Xbox or PlayStation controller. Everything works via Wi-Fi, and you can easily switch between devices while you play.
